Metal Park launches Phase Two expansion for packaging metals at Make it in the Emirates 2026

Metal Park announced the launch of Phase Two of its industrial development during Make it in the Emirates 2026, adding new capacity to its integrated metals ecosystem in the UAE.

The expansion will add 700,000 square feet of industrial facilities, increasing the total development footprint to more than 1.3 million square feet. The project is designed to support companies involved in metal manufacturing, fabrication, processing, storage and logistics.

According to the company, Phase Two will include additional warehouses, manufacturing units, service centres and logistics infrastructure aimed at strengthening the regional metals value chain. The development follows the successful completion and occupancy of facilities introduced under Phase One.

Metal Park stated that the expansion is intended to address growing demand from industrial companies seeking ready-to-operate facilities and access to integrated support services. The site is positioned to serve a range of sectors that rely on metal products and components, including construction, engineering, industrial manufacturing and packaging.

The company said the project forms part of wider efforts to support the UAE’s industrial growth agenda and enhance local manufacturing capabilities. By bringing together manufacturers, processors, traders and service providers within a single location, the development aims to improve operational efficiency and supply chain connectivity. The announcement was made during Make it in the Emirates 2026.

The expansion could provide improved access to regional suppliers, processors and logistics services supporting the production of steel and aluminium packaging materials. The additional infrastructure is also expected to strengthen local industrial networks and contribute to the development of downstream manufacturing activities across the metals sector.
